A unique expat vehicle program designed to answer every pain point
We’ve drawn on our extensive knowledge of relocation processes and the local systems here in Germany, to create a simplified scheme whereby assignees can access a vehicle from the day they arrive. Our unique process has been designed to protect our clients from German bureaucracy, with any default liability ultimately resting with King & Mayr, as owner of the fleet. Taking a big picture approach to this problem has allowed us to lift the red tape. Meanwhile, our contract with the organisation direct, (relocator or employer) allows us to service our clients in the most effective way possible, in control of the process, therefore reducing the chance of any costly surprises at any stage of the contract.

Behind King & Mayr is a multi-national team of passionate individuals who all thrive on assisting fellow internationals. Founded by Jennifer and Alan King, who bring a wealth of personal experience as expats themselves, we draw on our know-how acquired know-how to empathise with our client challenges and refine our service to overcome them. Jennifer, a German national with extensive international experience, and Alan, a former Royal Military Policeman, have combined their expertise to create a company dedicated to making expatriate life easier. JENNIFER KING
Jennifer King is the Co-Founder and CEO of King & Mayr. A German National, Third Culture Kid and former Expat herself she gained international experience and cultural insights growing up in the United States and Germany. This combined with her business degree and with her British husband, influenced them to found a company that they are truly passionate about. Together with their team, they believe that the service and support they offer to international assignees and their accompanying families makes a positive difference on their work-life balance, family welfare and overall assignment success.

ALAN L KING
Alan King is the husband and business partner of Jennifer, Co-Founder and COO of King & Mayr. A British / German National, Third Culture Kid and current Expat who has lived and worked in Germany since 2000, he absolutely loves being a part of an international community. Having served as a Royal Military Policeman in Her Majesty's Forces British Army around the world, he is well accustomed to travel, last-minute changes and exposure to many different cultures. The life and work experiences he has gathered equip him with an ideal skill set that brings forth the passion he has for helping fellow internationals adjust, enjoy and make the most of their assignments in Germany.

We help to educate our vendor partners…
Beyond the delivery of our direct service, we have, over time, also been able to educate our vendor partners on how they can work more effectively with international clients. As a result, they have refined their own processes to accommodate these needs, such as allowing our clients longer to process documents at their end. By taking this proactive approach with our vendors, they now better understand and serve our clients' needs. It has also opened up greater flexibility and resulted in a streamlined way of working for all stakeholders.
We guide our clients on German culture…
We have also been able to educate our clients on German business culture more generally, including the intricacies of German billing cycles and how they can circumnavigate any issues that arise from incompatibilities with their own financial administrative process. This has reduced frustrations for HR/global mobility teams who are now better equipped to communicate more effectively with wider partners and resolve general relocation challenges more equitably.
And we give back to the international community, too…
King & Mayr is proud to be part of Relocate The Profit - a joint initiative where Global Mobility Service Providers, Relocation Management Companies (RMCs), Destination Service Providers (DSPs), household goods shippers, immigration offices, tax service providers and any other companies associated with the Relocation Industry, work together to raise money for charity. We contribute to a better world where we change the lives of others through donations to the Livingstone Tanzania Trust (LTT), a UK Registered Charity that works to support schools and more communities to unlock potential, create new opportunities and ensure every child has access to an inclusive, quality education.
