Jennifer King
CEO & Marketing & International Liaison
Born in Germany and having grown up in Florida, USA Jennifer speaks fluent English and German and has great understanding of both American & German cultures. Jennifer gained a Degree in Marketing and Sales in 2002 and was immediately given the opportunity to work for the fourth largest communication agency network in the World, and the second largest media agency network, where she was employed as a project manager in procurement for all 35 subsidiaries in Germany.
In 2006 Jennifer decided to leave her position in Düsseldorf to take over a well-established family business serving American and NATO personnel located in Germany. Utilizing her skills in Marketing and Finance, Jennifer has managed to make a successful company even more successful, proving her competence in "knowing what the customers wants and needs".
During this time, Jennifer also created and developed a relocation service company aimed at servicing the administrational needs of non-German speakers located in Germany. This company proved to be a success in the local area as well as serving some clients located in the USA. The success of the company is attributed to the knowledge and experience Jennifer has had with dealing with a wide range of issues, including all forms of administration and financial sectors. After two years of ownership, Jennifer was approached by a large relocation agency located in Nordrhein-Westfalen, who expressed their desire to purchase her company, understanding that the concept and ethos of it would be a major asset to their already established business. Jennifer accepted the offer and her company was sold at a profit in 2009.
Alan King
COO & Administration and Customer Service Manager
Also born in Germany but under a British flag, Alan grew up in a military serving family living overseas. He has also served his country with the British Armed Forces for 11 years which has led to Alan´s great understanding of the Military way of life. Through his Military career, Alan has travelled most of the World and experienced many different cultures as well as working with many different international military and civilian departments.
Before his military career, Alan worked at a shipping dock located in the East of England and worked closely with HM Customs and many nationwide road logistics companies dealing with imported timber & steel manifests.
In 2010 Alan decided to leave the Military and to join Jennifer in the running of the well-established family business serving American and NATO personnel located in Germany. Alan is very approachable and will always go that extra mile to get the job done. He is always looking for and negotiating ways to get the best possible deals and exploring different avenues for clients to get a better all-round service.
Holger Mayr
CFO & Accounts Payable & Tax Expert
Holger has been actively involved with a wide range of tax issues since 1987. For the first 3 years of his career, Holger concentrated intensively on the German tax system. After successfully mastering this field he then went on to study and become involved with international tax law to offer his clients the best possible tax solutions to meet their individual needs. During 1993 - 1995, Holger acquired a certificate to become a tax professional.
Following the introduction of the European Union in 1996, Holger was able to take up the opportunity to specialize in German and international tax law where he handled a high volume client base located throughout Europe. Holger's passion and continued competence in any tax or financial vocation can be reflected in his more recent career portfolio. In 2006, he decided to expand on his experience and resources to take on the role as a management consultant; a role in which he still continues to do today within an area of one of the largest cities in Nordrhein-Westfalen.
In 2007, Holger also created an advisory board for a wage tax assistance association, a board which he led successfully for 3 years. Having obtained an advanced qualification as a pension advisor in 2009, he has since worked in close co-operation with one of the largest insurance companies in Germany and Europe. Holger enjoys the challenge of finding the perfect tax solution for any individual or company and strives to make sure that the result of this challenge is passed on positively to all of his clients.
